“Cosmic Connections” is a colorful abstract oil painting 
 with very thick spontaneous brushwork in saturated red, blues and yellows on a
white background. This was painted while listening to opera music.
Opera music has multiple levels, an orchestra, chorus, major
singers that join in with arias, duets, trios, quartets, etc. The
action within the musical drama, the rawness of the feelings
expressed, and the unpredictability of the movements all moves
me along as I added layer upon layer over multiple days to the canvas.

The title comes from my investigations into how our cells are not only linked to one another but also connected to every living being on Earth and everything in the vast expanse of the universe.  I realized that our bodies were not isolated entities but rather a reflection of the cosmic symphony of life.  I believe that understanding our connection to the universe holds the key to unlocking the secrets of existence itself.
