“Ocean” Acrylic on Canvas

"Ocean" is a colorful abstract painting done on canvas with mainly blues, greens, pinks and violets, yellows green background.. The title "Ocean" relates to the subject matter here. The use of brush strokes laid done upon and mixed in to other brushstrokes creates the movement of the water and the waves. At the time, I was in a gallery that sponsored an exhibition of works with the word, “elements.” I chose water as being composed of hydrogen and oxygen and with the depiction of the ocean for its beauty and vastness.
