Katherine Borkowski-Byrne’s “Tall Tale” is a a painterly abstract oil painting on canvas 60 x 48 x 1.5 inches with spontaneous brushwork in saturated reds, blues, blacks and pastels on a gray background.  This painting was inspired by looking up at the clouds and looking inward and feeling one with nature.  Bright colors were used for its emotional expression and the vision of a sky filled with color.   “Tall Tale” is unframed with sides painted white and the signature on the reverse.

My story is a little bit fiction, my Tall Tale is about the magic of the painting.  Every full moon, the clouds come alive, painting the sky in vivid hues.  Each cloud has its own personality.  People will travel far and wide to experience my enchanting painting, leaving with their hearts filled with wonder and dreams of reaching the magical realm where clouds are more than mere fleeting sights in the sky.  My clouds imbue every day with a touch of mystery and the promise of grand adventures.
