"White Writing" is writing that goes beyond words. This oil painting on canvas is mostly off-white with blues, reds and violets. The signature is on back. When I first came upon the term, “asemic” writing, I understood that I share the same intentions as the asemic writers, some of whom identified as visual poets, who use a nonverbal script to communicate in an abstract and wordless language. My goal is that the experience of looking at my paintings is an experience that goes beyond words and is recognized as something eternal.
