Katherine Borkowski-Byrne’s “Entanglements” is a colorful abstract oil painting on canvas 36 x 42 x 1.5-inch oil painting on canvas with very thick spontaneous brushwork in saturated red, blues, and yellows on a white background. After thinking about the concept of “Entanglements” discovered, but dismissed, by Albert Einstein, it has since been proven by countless quantum physics experiments that two particles are inextricably linked and copy each other’s every movement, even if they are millions of miles apart. It is with wonder that I consider and attempt to express how the particles within our bodies are connected to the universe. “Entanglements” is unframed with sides painted white and the signature on the reverse.
